Yggdrasil is an evergreen ash tree: the tree of life, or universe ash, in rich Norse mythology. Its roots and branches hold together the different worlds: Asgard, Midgard, Helheim, Niflheim, Muspellheim, Svartalfheim, Alfheim, Vanaheim and Jötunheim. From its root emanates the source that fills the well of knowledge, guarded by Mímir. At the foot of the tree was the god Heimdall who was in charge of protecting it from the attacks of the dragon Níðhöggr and a multitude of worms that tried to corrode its roots and overthrow the gods it represented. But he also had the help of the norns who took care of him, watering him with water from the well of Urd. A bridge linked the Yggdrasil with the abode of the gods, the Bifröst, the rainbow, all the gods crossed over it to enter Midgard. Yggdrasil oozes honey and shelters an unnamed eagle with a falcon named Veðrfölnir between its eyes, a squirrel named Ratatösk, a dragon named Níðhöggr and four deer, Dáin, Dvalin, Duneyrr and Duraþrór. Near their roots dwell the norns.

Tácito described in his work "Germania" an oracular practice based on wooden rods with some engravings that were runes. Properly ritualized, runic inscriptions on swords or other objects endowed them with exceptional power. Regarding the runes of the Nazi SS, its origin is located in the ancient Germanic warriors, who carved the sacred runic signs on the scabbards of the swords they used in combat. These signs were attributed a magical value of wisdom, protection and power, also being engraved on ships and solemn places to give security and stability to the people. The SS identified with these Teutonic Germanic warriors and their mythology as ancestral guardians of lost Hyperborea.

Las inscripciones rúnicas debidamente ritualizadas en espadas u otros objetos les otorgaban un poder excepcional. Respecto a las runas de las SS nazis, su origen se sitúa en los antiguos guerreros germánicos, quienes tallaban los signos rúnicos sagrados en las vainas de las espadas que utilizaban en los combates. A estos signos se les atribuía un valor mágico de sabiduría, protección y poder, siendo también grabados en naves y lugares solemnes para dar seguridad y estabilidad a las personas. Las SS se identificaron con estos guerreros germánicos teutónicos y su mitología como guardianes ancestrales de la Hiperbórea perdida.

Esta esvástica "en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj" representa el regreso a la remota Hiperbórea.

1_ Are you a good reader in your daily life?

What writers or books could you recommend from Brazil?

HASSKULTUR - I used to be a great reader, I read classics and basic things, currently because of work I'm out of time. Last book I read the former member of the band sent me the famous Turner's Diaries, in Brazil little interests me about nationalism and more material from ancient sources in Europe

2_ When did HASSKULTURE take shape?

HASSKULTUR - The band was formed during the communist virus pandemic, we recorded it manually in a fourth studio, a very simple thing, so a poorly made and poorly recorded demo came out. In 2022 we decided to improve our sound so we recorded the 1st album, and we were well accepted in the underground scene, in 2022 we released the second album a little better than the 1st ..so we are trying to improve the 3rd album ..there are many difficulties to producing a bigoted sound in our communist region is infested with antifa...

3_ Musically speaking 

HASSKULTUR - will it be a project which can be seen live?

HASSKULTUR - I find it unlikely to play live, with all this red political conjecture that we are living in South America and in the world.

4_ What is your point of view about the growth in Brazil of the Black Metal and its ramifications? As long as we talk

of the respectable!!

HASSKULTUR - Metal itself in Brazil and South America has always had a great growth, good musicians, as I haven't heard politically correct metal for more than 20 years, I don't have much to say about it... but there are good projects appearing in undergound, apart from the old bands that helped a lot in the growth of the Nsbm and rac scene, I always listen to old stuff, it serves as inspiration...

5_ Are you preparing new material? yes that's how it is

Could you tell us a bit about how it is shaping up?

HASSKULTUR - I'm a little out of time because of work and the distro but I'm recording slowly, some songs are already being recorded.

6_ Let's talk a little about Nationalism in your country.

How do you see the patriotic movements of your country?

HASSKULTUR - I don't see anything that can really change here, we have a weak and sold right, as now that the world can see our armed forces sold to the corrupt communist politicians who took power, our country is entering difficult times.

7_ In a musical exchange

What projects would you recommend us from your country?

HASSKULTUR - I haven't listened to Brazilian bands a lot but I recommend that you get to know old bands that helped to strengthen the scene we have today... they always serve as an inspiration... if I were to report the bands here I would write a lot of names but we all know which bands they are.

8_ (At this point I let you express yourself about what you

want free of all expression and without censorship).

HASSKULTUR - The nsbm scene has a more honorable and moral character among musicians, bands and distros, compared to mainstream traditional metal. So I hope that we can unite more every day against this cursed red enemy.

9_ What musical projects are you listening to lately?

HASSKULTUR - Currently I have received a lot of interesting and well-crafted material from many musicians, raw and direct sound, I like that ... the bands we have released I also listen to a lot ... Other than that I have been listening to a lot of Rac: Mistreat, Brutal Attack, Macht & Ehre, No Remorse etc... I think the 3rd album will have a big influence from Rac.

10_ Apart from Barbatos Prod., what other label was interested in representing hasskultur outside your country or within it?

HASSKULTUR - The 1st album + demo will be released in our country, on cassette tape this year by Tauranar recods, it will also be released in the United States by H8 Propagand Art. The 2nd album will be released by Barbatos productions with 5 bonus tracks including a Brutal Attack cover.

11_In addition to being a musician, you have the White Hand Distro label. Let's talk a little about your label and editions.

HASSKULTUR - WHD emerged from an old dream of being able to show unknown and undergound bands. as we are a small distro we have a per-school format, for example limited and numbered copies on most releases. I want to continue in this format! I think there are many good bands that deserve to have their music released in physical media such as tapes, vinyl and cd. I am pleased to be able to show these works. About WHD releases I still have little released, bands like: Legion Noire - Wewelsburg Project - KREIGERTOD- XÄL- Nuova Littoria- OBSCURED MOONLIGHT- HASSKULTUR and this year we still have several projects in progress. Lots of good stuff comes.

12_you had to fight with members of the opposition in your country in fist fights?

HASSKULTUR - I've had some problems in the past and currently but nothing that I couldn't solve at the moment.

13_Tell us how was the recording process in general of your demo. RAHOWA... We Speak the Truth

HASSKULTUR - The recording process, as I mentioned before, was very artisanal and simple, I'm talking about the demo, the 1st album RAHOWA: we speak the truth was already better prepared and the 2nd album Make black metal hate again from 2022 was made with more quality .. but it's very difficult to make an intolerant sound in the region where I live .. finally there's a lot of persecution .. the worm antifas don't sleep but they know they will never be like us... here's a serious tip don't let any obstacle get in the way of your work!
